Field Notes (2021)
Field Notes muses on our connection with natural spaces and the lack of education around native wildlife. Using her grandmother’s childhood nature diary as inspiration, Pilkington created her own record of a local green space by collecting, identifying and mapping parts of Bushy Park, London.
The poster unfolds like a map, visualising the common tree species found in the park and prompts viewers to experience the park in a more engaged, informed way.
